The Instant Catalog connector allows you to create a digital catalog directly from Sales Layer and share it through a customized microsite. It is especially useful when you want to give customers, sales teams, or partners access to up-to-date product information without creating a separate website or manually preparing catalog files.

The catalog updates automatically based on the products, fields, filters, and languages configured in the PIM. This means that when you update the selected content in Sales Layer, the end user can access the latest version through the catalog URL. You can also create a multilingual microsite from the same connector, without needing to create a separate catalog for each language.

With this connector, you can choose which products and fields to include, so the catalog only shows the information you want to share. If you have the Extended version, you can also use it to receive and manage purchase orders.

Types of Instant Catalog

There are two types of Instant Catalog: Instant Catalog Lite and Instant Catalog Extended.

Instant Catalog Lite

Instant Catalog Lite includes basic catalog features. It is a good option when you need a simple catalog for browsing and viewing the content from your PIM catalog.

This version allows users to access selected product information through a digital catalog and includes the option to add contact information.

For a more customized catalog experience, including advanced access, search, analytics, ordering, and PDF options, check the Instant Catalog Extended version.
