- Have unique item SKUs and item names. At the time of the synchronization of the catalog, keep in mind that the names and SKU codes of the product or variants must be unique.
- Products must have at least one category to be sent to BigCommerce.
- Products must have prices and weights. The value of these fields must be positive or zero. When these fields are empty or mapped with an empty value, BigCommerce will return an error during the synchronization.
- Variants must have the SKU field configured and at least one more custom field.
- To generate an item in BigCommerce, the following fields are required: category name for Categories, SKU, name, and price for Products, and Variant SKU plus any custom field for Variants.
- To make complete use of the Multi-storefront feature, clients must have a field of type Attribute list in their product and category forms. Specific details are given in the Manage Storefronts section. These fields will be updated by the connector and will list the storefronts available in BigCommerce.
