Before trying to connect with Magento, you will need to have a pre-configured environment for e-commerce. If you do not have your marketplace yet, you will need to create it first. To download and install your Magento e-commerce on your server, you can go to Adobe Commerce local installation documentation.
To continue, you will need to install the Sales Layer plugin in the environment. If you have the free version of Magento, download the plugin from GitHub for Magento Community. If you have the Enterprise version, download the plugin from GitHub for Magento Enterprise. Both links include the steps needed for installation and the compatible versions.
- It is necessary to have Magento cron jobs configured and operational before the first synchronization of the connector.
- To learn more about setting up cron jobs, see Adobe Commerce cron job documentation.
It is also recommended to check the following articles in this Magento section: Recommendations, Supported and unsupported features, and Correlation of Field.
