Supported and unsupported features

This connector supports importing and updating product information with some characteristics, explained below:


Regarding the listing synchronization:


  • Creating listings: if the product does not exist on Amazon, the channel will create it.
  • Updating listings: if the product already exists, it will update it. To check if a product exists on Amazon, you can search the Amazon Dashboard, in the inventory section.
  • Deleting listings: this connector does not remove product information on Amazon. If you want to delete items on Amazon, this must be done directly on the Amazon platform.

Note: It is recommended to keep the items in the PIM up-to-date to avoid inconsistencies in the data.


Regarding specific product types and fields:


Amazon provides and regularly updates a wide and highly dynamic list of over 1600 product types and each field with specific structures.


  • Field "track_listing": the connector does not guarantee the sending of values for the field, which is present in the product types ABIS_DVD, ABIS_MUSIC, and ABIS_VIDEO.
  • Fields "purchasable_offer" and "enrgy_guide": although the connector can send one value for these fields, it cannot send multiple values.
  • Specific definitions: some fields may require specific data types, such as "tables", "attribute lists", or "text". These fields must be properly configured in Sales Layer to ensure proper synchronization.


IMPORTANT NOTES:


  • Documentation submission limitations: it is not possible to send attachments (such as product manuals) through the channel, as it does not support any group of product type fields.
  • SKU Limit per connector: by default, a new connector is limited to handle a maximum of 1000 SKUs. If you need a higher limit, contact your CSM to evaluate your situation.
  • Amazon frequent updates: Amazon frequently updates the specifications of its product types, which may include adding, modification, or deletion fields or their requirements. It is crucial to keep these up-to-date in the system to ensure that products are synchronized correctly.
